Park Avenue

<Home>

Park Avenue was a group that  Kevin Knapp  and I put together during the time period between the original Vegas and Lex Byers & Vegas with the 3 pc horn section .

The group consisted of myself on Guitar and vocals, Kevin Knapp on the Hammond and Keys, Guitar and vocals, Frank on Drums, Shelly Knapp on vocals, and Joe Coleman on Bass and vocals. I  left the  group  due to internal conflicts. Eventually, after I left, other members endured the same type of strife and eventually the band broke up. It was too bad, the band had a lot of potential with four vocalists and excellent musicianship.  Kevin and got back together again after a short while and put together R*Gang around 1988 which became a very popular and requested band.

Though I do not believe any pictures of Park Avenue exist, I do have audio tapes of the group performing at a local bar, so give a listen.  Park Ave live at Timothy's

 Kevin, Shelly, Frank and I remain friends to this day.
